First, this is not a Nama J2 Juicer. While it may look like it, and have a similar concept, where you load a hopper and then the juicer juices all the items in the hopper, that is where the similarities end. I did an in-depth comparison between this and the Nama J2. The Good: 1. I was impressed with the build quality of this machine. It was able to work 30 minutes without stopping which was great! 2. The machine actually worked, you can load up the hopper and shut the lid and everything gets juiced, except for things that do not gravity feed into the auger. 3. This is a good value for a juicer made in China, compared to others here on Amazon. It has a decent quality motor The build quality of the plastic parts could be better. The Bad: 1. This machine has a 1 yr warranty according to the Amazon listing, but no contact information or warranty information is included when you get the juicer. So if this machine breaks, you will probably end up throwing it away. Where-as the Nama J2 has a FULL 15 year warranty on the motor and parts, and Nama has US based customer service reps and PARTS in the USA. 2. This machine is not a "true" hopper design, as the hopper is nothing more than a extra large feed chute. The nama j2 has a separate hopper with processing blade that is there to precut and then feed in produce into the J2 and the perfect rate to almost eliminate clogging/jamming. 3. This machine took 5 minutes LONGER to juice the SAME amount of produce as the Nama J2 (oranges, pineapple, carrots, ginger) 4. This machine made a LESS nutritious juice, as it leaves the pulp more coarse and does not grind it up as finely as the nama j2. (most juicers from china, do this, as they are not properly engineered) 5. This machine put about 25 grams more pulp into the juice than the nama j2. The pulp in the juice was also more coarse, so it is more easily detected than the fine pulp of the nama j2. 6. This machine made LESS YIELD than the Nama J2, (not by much), which was impressive, but the juice tasted more "watery" whereas the juice from the Nama J2 tasted more rich with flavor depth. 6. This machine is Made in China, where-as the Nama J2 is made in South Korea in a factory that makes the world's best juicers for over 20 years. In the end, if you just want a inexpensive juicer as you are on a "fad" juicing kick, this machine may be right for you. If on the other hand, you want to make serious lifestyle changes, to lose weight, succeed over your health opportunities, then I Would highly encourage you to actually buy the Nama J2 (not sold on amazon) to buy the proper machine the first time.
