Revolutionary!

Alright folks, I've been using the Dreame Bot L30 Ultra for a bit now, and I've got to say, it's seriously impressive. Let me break down why this little dynamo has become my new best friend in home cleaning. First off, the suction power is something else. We're talking 7,300 Pascal power here. It gets all the dirt, dust, and pet hair without breaking a sweat, whether it's on carpets or hardwood. It's like a mini tornado that cleans instead of making a mess. Now, the hot water mopping – that's a real winner. It heats up to 136°F, and the difference it makes on my floors is noticeable. It's especially great in high-traffic areas like the kitchen. I never thought I'd be impressed by a mop, but here we are. The self-cleaning mop is a lifesaver. After doing its thing, the bot heads back to its station, washes, and dries the mop, and even takes care of its own dirt in the dustbin. It's like having a little robot butler that never complains. Navigating around my house, this thing is smarter than some people I know. It uses AI and 3D tech to dodge furniture and avoid getting stuck. It's kind of amazing to watch it do its thing without needing any help. For the tech-savvy, the Dreamehome app is a dream. You can control everything from your phone – set schedules, designate no-go zones, or just fire it up from the comfort of your couch. And yes, it works with Alexa and Google Assistant too. Voice commands for cleaning? Yes, please! I appreciate how it handles carpets – lifting its mop so it doesn't get them wet. It's the little things like this that show how well-thought-out this bot is. Design-wise, it's sleek and doesn't look out of place. It's sturdy too, which gives me confidence that it's not just a fancy toy but a durable cleaning tool. In short, the Dreame Bot L30 Ultra isn't just another gadget. It's a robust, intelligent cleaning machine that's made my life a lot easier. For anyone looking to invest in a top-notch robot vacuum and mop, this is a solid choice. Sure, it's a bit of a splurge, but for the time and effort it saves, I'd say it's well worth it.

Difficult to use. Very difficult to get refund back.

I was not impressed with this robotic vacuum for several reasons. First it was very large, much larger than expected. Second the the company strongly recommends not placing it on carpet or a wood floor. Best to place on tile floor. The map functionality was troublesome and the vacuum got stuck so many times I did not feel comfortable letting it run without supervision. Shot a question via email to customer service and never heard back. I requested a refund on 01/15/24 and the item was shipped back and received on 01/25/24. I am still waiting for my refund. Amazon customer service said it will take another seven days since it is a 3rd party item. I ordered and received a Roborock Q Revo Robot vacuum instead. Works as advertised!

My First Robot Vac

I wanted my first robot vac and I wanted the best one available to try them out. My house is 100% tile/hardwood with some rugs around. This L30 is amazingly smart and cleans well. App is great, sometimes laggy, but still detailed with lots of settings, options, programming and correct/detailed mapping. Cleaning is great with the suction and mopping. I like the edge feature as it really does get totally to the edge with the mops. It can detect nearly everything with it's AI technology which is amazing. It hasn't gotten stuck yet. In it's normal CleanGenius mode it's not loud until it gets to carpet then the vac kicks up. We've only had for about 10 days so far but we've had this unit working everyday somewhere to keep the floors spotless and I would so far HIGHLY RECCOMMEND this product. I'm happy to not have to clean the floors much again.
Value over L20 Ultra is debatable, but supremely better than any Roomba

I have an iRobot Roomba i7+ and I thought that was as good as robot vacuums gets. Nope, this DreameBot with the camera and lidar is soo much better. Pros: With the lidar+camera, the L30 Ultra Dreambot only needs ONE pass on any specific surface to get 95%+ coverage whereas the i7+ gets lost many a times after already completely mapping, and has to wander around a bit to eventually finish cleaning. This means the Dreamebot gets similar guest-room, or bathroom, job done in 1/10 the time with only 10% battery drained whereas the Roomba spent 30 minutes wandering around and drained its battery up to 40%. So Dreamebot is easily recharged to 100% nearly after a job. A HUGE contrast. When I tell the Dreamebot to go and find a room, it gets there immediately and gets job done. Roomba, wander around, get lost a bit, maybe not even make it there at all. The interactive map means I can follow along on the app from anywhere I'm at. My primary use of the L30 Ultra is vacuum/mop the floor around the cat box on a daily schedule. It does it 90% splendidly. 10% is issues with too much obstacle avoidance, and that its mop-edging is slightly lacking for encrusted stains. Took a week trip away and the DreameBot took care of the room to where I can trust it. Voice control (without involving Alexa, Google, etc) is really nice when you want to control it without the app. Cons: The L30 Ultra is very very obstacle adverse and will avoid even the smallest object or crack in the floor it thinks is a wire. So while I can interactively watch the Dreamebot on its map and see exactly what where it is a doing (unlike the Roomba's mapping), but I can't tell the Dreamebot to ignore a specific obstacle until the next job pass. I hope they improve this. Positive is it won't roll over kids socks and stuff on the floor, but will still make Lego-parts disappear. Need to dig into the Settings to find the one that forces the Dreamebot to actually try to edge and bump-up on objects as much as it conservatively can. OTOH, Roomba would've ran all over these obstacles without question. It's under "Robot management->Collision-Avoidance Mode". This setting needs more visibility. The AI-driven MopExtend is pointless as it doesn't get used most of the time even in deep-clean, or custom, mode. So I just leave it in always-on-mode aka "High-Frequency", so it is actually "trying" to edge. I have some really long-time dried stains on tile (due to being hidden under some furniture), that 26 custom max-cleaning passes at max-moisture will only 90% care of it. Again, MopExtend doesn't get the last .5cm at the floor/wall-edges, so have to manually that. Really not sure what the 136F water heating is about, as I haven't noticed a difference. Drying the mops still can take from 2H(ours) setting to 6H(ours) setting. Mops do seem clean and odor-less a week in so far. The max-suction spec may seem nice, but it's not clear what suction level the "standard" (of Quiet, Standard, Turbo, Max) mode uses. There's a max-suction but has some limits of when it can be used. It's hilarious to watch it leave the dock, immediately go back to the dock to the detach the mop-pads, and then leave again instead of cutting out the round-trip. It's not a battery hit, but seems like an bug Dreame should fix. Summary: Would never get a Roomba again if it doesn't have camera/lidar. I'd rather go for a Roborock next if its navigation is supposedly better than Dreame.
Cleanest my house has been in years

I love this robot! It cleans so well, I run it at night while we are sleeping and it does a great job. I was hesitant at the price, but when you think about hiring someone to come in and clean...the price isn't as bad as I first thought. It's bigger than I expected but when you take into consideration of a dirty water tank, clean water tank and a dirt bag it makes sense for the size. I especially like the hot water mop pad cleaning. I have a larger 2200 sqft home and it does a great job in the vacuuming the carpet areas and mopping the hard floors. I really like that it get edges, and you don't see dirty mop marks...and I have transition moulding on the floors from hard floors to carpet. This machine goes right over that molding and across area rugs like a champ. The app is easy to use, and I really like that you can see where it's been make rooms no go areas. If the robot get's low battery, it goes back to station recharges and goes right back where it left off. How cool it that? So far only complaint; (not really a complaint) Why didn't I buy it sooner!

Very good, hot water is not hot!

I would say that I don’t see much difference when compared to the L20 ultra. The hot water was only warm and I had no problems in placing my hand on it for 1 minute or more. There was a bit of steam coming through it. The water came only at 123F and not 136F as advertised. I am not sure if warm water will be any different than the cold water for mop cleaning…otherwise, the robot is exactly the same as the L20, very good! Highly recommended.

I own a Rumba and a Shark robot vac, but neither can come close to cleaning as the Dreame L30. This thing is just wonderful, you have to see it for yourself to believe how well it cleans! I’m so happy someone made a robot vacuum that really works, thank you!!!

The Dreame L30 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop has not only entered my home but revolutionized my cleaning routine, setting a new standard for what I expect from a robotic vacuum. As a previous user of the Roomba i7, I approached the L30 Ultra with a mix of curiosity and high expectations. It didn't just meet these expectations; it surpassed them, redefining the concept of home cleaning for me. From the moment I unboxed it, the L30 Ultra struck me with its high-quality build. The fit and finish radiate a sense of luxury that I hadn't encountered in other models. It's more than a cleaning device; it's a sophisticated piece of technology that blends seamlessly into the modern home. Navigating through the Dreamehome app was an intuitive experience. The controls were straightforward, making it easy to customize the vacuum's functions to my preferences. One of the unique features of this model is its built-in camera, which allows you to watch the cleaning process from the vacuum's viewpoint. While intriguing, I found this perspective a bit too real at times, revealing the extent of dirt and debris in a way that was almost too honest. When it came to consumables like brushes, bags, and special soap, I noticed that while the specific soap for this model wasn't readily available online, aftermarket options for brushes and bags were, which is a relief considering the often high prices of first-line products. The weight of the L30 Ultra, particularly when filled with water for mopping, was notable. Unlike my Roomba i7, which navigated over small floor dividers with ease, the L30 Ultra struggled in this aspect. However, what it lacked in agility, it made up for in its cleaning efficiency. It's significantly quieter than my Roomba and more thorough in its cleaning approach. The rooms didn't just look clean; they looked meticulously cared for. The vacuum's edge cleaning technology impressed me. It could extend its mop pads into tight spaces, ensuring a comprehensive clean around furniture and corners. The strong suction power of 7300Pa was effective in picking up large debris like pet food, a task my Roomba sometimes struggled with. The rubber brush adapted well to different floor types and didn't get tangled with pet hair, a common issue with many vacuums. The hands-free operation of up to 75 days due to the DualBoost 2.0 technology was a standout feature. The auto-empty base station, coupled with a large 3.2L dust bag, meant I didn't have to worry about emptying the bin frequently, a convenience that significantly reduced the maintenance effort. In terms of navigation and AI, the L30 Ultra demonstrated a level of intelligence and precision in avoiding obstacles and creating efficient cleaning paths, something I hadn't seen with the Roomba. The AI camera not only helped in navigation but offered insights into areas under furniture, revealing spaces that often go unnoticed during cleaning. While I didn't explore the voice control feature with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home, its inclusion promises added convenience for users who prefer voice commands. In conclusion, the Dreame L30 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop is not just an upgrade from standard models like the Roomba; it's a leap into the future of home cleaning. Its combination of elegant design, advanced features, and exceptional cleaning performance makes it an ideal choice for anyone looking to elevate their cleaning experience. While it has some limitations in maneuverability, its overall efficiency, intelligence, and ease of use make it a superior choice in the robotic vacuum market.
