Purchased two of these mouse pattern laser pointers as a gift for a friend who just rescued and added another cat into their family and compared to the typical red dot laser, I'm told that their newest edition to the family went ballistic when the mouse image was cast on the floor and just doesn't seem to tire of it.

We tried repeatedly with our 7 mos old kitten. He couldn’t care less about the image cast by this product.
