Fun fun item when you have friends and a few drinks

Looks great and I’ve had fun playing my son. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is because the scoring pegs get in the way of the ring toss at the beginning of the game.

This luxury version of the ring and loop game is awesome. The price is a bit high, but it is fully wood and with nice quality fittings so it can be excused. It's a fun alternative to something like a dartboard as it still takes skill to learn and master, and the larger form factor makes it different enough from the small game to be exciting. The major benefit of this larger form factor is that they did such a great job giving it this guitar like shape. Combined with the finish they chose it really does look quite like a guitar if you don't look at it too closely. Much better than a dart board in this regard as it can blend in with other decor much more easily. Now, for the only downside: the string. For such an expensive game, the strong itself is pretty thin. It comes with a little cord lock so you can adjust the length of the line, but the line is so thin I feel like its going the break. Of course, it doesn't actually break, but it just feels too thin. I guess that's to help it to store easily as it's setup to just wrap the string around two screw heads(another sort of sub part part of it, just two screws instead of custom hooks to hold the cord. This is more just nitpicking because the rest of it is so nice. Behind the two screws it has a magnet embedded in the wood to hold the ring when its in storage, which further highlights the combination of such nice and beautiful features along with a thin string and plain screw heads.

The gameplay is fine. The routed hole where the hook goes through does not line up so it will not see my picture if you’re the seller can you fix this?

First off, I want to give props for the design of this hook and ring game. The guitar theme is classy, made with a high grade pinewood. This wall game is extremely well made, I'm quite impressed. Our last game honestly had seen better days, so we retired it and found this fabulous guitar hook and ring set. Let me touch on the quality of the actual guitar, the New Zealand pine is such a unique and beautiful wood. The pictures online cannot depict how incredibly gorgeous this guitar shaped hook and ring game are. I love the versatility of this game, my family - well we are thoroughly enjoying this new game set up in our family room. Below, I will list the major factors for picking this hook and ring game over other similar ones on the market. *Design: Unique design- 100% New Zealand pinewood - polish finish - intricate detail resembling an actual guitar. This blends into almost any environment with this guitar theme. *Storage: this has an open folding design which makes it less cumbersome *Weather treated- can be used outdoors (under covered areas) also- wood is sealed to protect it's condition *dimensions: 31 x 12 x 2 inches and a weight of 5.5 lbs *contents: 1 wooden guitar and 2 score pins Overall, I find that this is really a great family friendly game. I enjoy interacting with my two teenage daughters, pulling them away from their phones as much as possible. Since doing so, they are loving this new game and family time. This is well made, the design works well. The appearance of this hook and ring game really does elevate this game. Based on these facts, I do recommend this to other consumers, especially during the winter months, this is a great family gathering in the waiting. This thing is way nicer than any hook and ring game I have ever encountered. It is far bigger than I thought and it is solid wood. It seems expensive, but when you get it, you see why. Really nice pieces of wood and the whole thing is very sturdy and durable. This would go great in a gameroom or at a bar. The scoring pins are great, and it is very cool that you can close it and hide the ring in rope inside the decorative facade. It is also pretty cool that a tree gets planted with every purchase, making this feel good purchase feel good. Enjoy!

This is a really nice looking game in the shape of guitar. It's made from wood and it's actually fun to play. Do know that this comes disassembled and requires some assembly. It took me about 20 minutes from start to enem. It wasn't hard to do but the directions were printed pretty small so that made it difficult to read them. Essentially, it comes as 3 different pieces of wood: the 2 side and the middle lirxe. There's a wooden dowel rod that goes through the center of the middle piece and acts as an anchor piece for all of the pieces to fit together. As you place the side pieces on, they get attached by a single screw in each side. There's a hook to attach at the bottom and then the last 2 screws are to mount the game somewhere. As for a game, this is okay while being social. It's actually nice because the game looks like a nice decoration that you would have and when the game isn't in use it folds downward and stay out of way until it's ready to be played again.

This hook and ring game is so attractive. It is very easy to assemble and includes all the hardware necessary. All you need is a screwdriver and possibly a hammer if you use the wall anchors. The wood is beautiful with a very nice finish but as you can see in my pictures it was a little beat up in shipping. There was a scratch on one side of the guitar that was a bit disappointing. The finish is easily scratched so you need to take care in assembly. That being said the finished product looks great. When you are not playing it looks like an attractive guitar hanging on the wall. All you do is lift up the arm and prop it with the attached peg and you're ready to play. The string is adjustable and there are several different versions of play outlined in the instructions that are included. I recommend this Hook and Ring game. It's not only a unique, fun game but looks really great on the wall.
