I'm not forcing my body to fit the chair, I can adjust the chair completely to fit my body

I purchased the non-footrest version. The only difference between this model and the other is the footrest and one further notch back in the recline (126° 136° max). All other components are the same. I zoomed in and compared and e-mailed sales to find out what's the difference (since I was considering a footrest model for a future purchase). I have a little atypically built with smaller waist and frames but broad shoulders at 5'9" and 185lbs; and I have a very tight/fatigued lower back that complains if I am behind a desk for more than a few hours. I knew finding a comfortable full-day use chair was going to be a challenge. I've tried about 30 chairs in Office Depot, Costco, Staples and a few office furniture stores to find a great value chair to upgrade from an old trusty Staples mesh one. Too many had tradeoffs with a comfortable seat but no lumbar support or great lumbar but uncomfortable seat or would pinch my shoulders... or if did fit both requirements it would have fixed armrests or didn't recline at all and I knew I would get antsy sitting completely vertical after too long. My back is so picky and so bad that I was often sitting with a yoga/pressure back stretching pad behind my back just to provide enough pressure on bad days. After finding the amount of adjustability with Newtral and given Amazon's amazing return policy I decided to take a fairly researched gamble. The lumbar support piston called to me. I wanted that firm, yet adjustable lumbar support that would save my lower back struggles. I was pleasantly shocked! I did my first full 8 hour work day behind the PC in a long time. Usually I have to tap out and lay down in the middle to get thru it. Yet with Newtral I was able to power thru it with only a few short breaks for meals and snacks. You will be surprised how much adjustability this chair has. I've only had it for about a week and I'm still min-maxing to find the most optimum seating position with backrest positon + lumbar vertical position + lumbar horizontal pressure to see what feels better after a long day working. I love it for that reason. I'M NOT FORCING MY BODY TO FIT THE CHAIR, I'M ADJUSTING THE CHAIR TO FIT MY BODY! Like a glove =) Total Adjustability from Top to Bottom: * Headrest - Height and Angle Adjustable * Backseat Height Options - 3 Positions (tool-less change, takes about 2 mins) * Lumbar Pressure - 3 Lockable Positions or Floating Mode with Variable Resistance (via Knob) * Armrest Height - 7 Lockable Positions * Armrest Width - Slider Side-to-side Spacing * Armrest Angle - 3 Position Inward-Outward Angle Adjustable * Armrest Depth - 5 Lockable Positions * Recline - 4 Lockable Positions or Floating Mode with Knob Adjustable Recline Resistance * Seat Depth - 4 Lockable Positions * Seat Height - Adjustable I don't believe I have ever found a more adjustable and flexible chair. I can keep the lumbar super firm in the far forward position and provide constant pressure while I'm focused working in full upright mode. Other times I can release the lock and make it floating so if I am moving around in my chair more it gives good pressure dynamically as I lean forward or back. Or if my back needs a break or I want to lean back and relax a bit I can lock the lumber piston in the furthest back position so it isn't aggressive at all and I can get more comfortable. A side benefit of the about of adjustability if you had 2+ people with fairly different builts, the customizing in positions from seat height to seat depth to lumbar pressure to lumbar position or floating mode to armwrest height/depth/angle to tilt lock... it can be one chair that can work well for both individuals. Reviewing a few dozen different chairs... I have without a doubt I cannot find a better one for this price range. It has a quality build in ever piece and all carefully wrapped in foam or bubble wrap. The e-mail support team is very responsive. Nothing on this chair feels cheap or like they cut corners. It actually makes me curious why everyone raves about these $1000+ chairs (which I can't even find used for under $500) when I feel like I scored with Newtral's for a fraction of the price. Best bang for the buck by far.

I've been using this chair for about 3 months now. While I loved my previous chair, there are some aspects of this chair that I like more, but there are still areas where improvements could be made. [Negative] Hand Rests – Many users complain that the hand rests are too loose and can move unintentionally. While that's true, it doesn't bother me too much, as I usually keep them at the outermost position, which prevents them from moving further. [Positive] Hand Rest Adjustability – On the positive side, the hand rests are fully adjustable, which was one of my top priorities when choosing this chair. I definitely appreciate this feature. [Positive] Cushion Comfort – The cushion is one of the best features of this chair. My previous chair had a plastic mesh that wasn’t very comfortable, but this cushion feels great and provides solid support. [Negative] Height Adjustment Concerns – While the chair feels sturdy overall, I’ve noticed that it tends to sink a bit too low when a heavier person sits in it. It bounces back up once you stand, but I’m not confident that the height adjustment mechanism will stay firm over the long term. [Negative] Back Support Issues – The biggest downside of this chair is the back support. The spring mechanism, while fancy, is not very practical. There are two major issues: The spring doesn’t feel smooth. When you press on the back support, it should move smoothly, but instead, it shifts in small, discrete “jumps” or "quantums" rather than a continuous motion. This makes the experience less comfortable. The back support locks in place when adjusted, but it locks in both directions. This means I can’t lock it in a halfway position where I could still use the spring for movement when I lean back. It’s a little hard to explain, but I hope the manufacturer takes note and improves this in future versions. [Negative] Wheels on Carpet – The wheels are not great on carpet. I had to purchase a separate set of wheels from Amazon to make the chair move more smoothly. [positive] The assembly was pretty easy generally and I don't game so no comments on that.
