Perfect for our mini dachshund. I use them both for food - one at our house and one at Grandpa's house. Our doxie gets 1/4 cup, twice a day. I'd say 3/4 of a cup would fit max. I've already washed them in the dishwasher several times. The design is colorfast and so cute. They are heavy and the rubber on the bottom prevents them from scooting around. Highly recommended for small animals.

The dog bowls were much smaller than I thought they would be, and instead of one saying "Eat" and the other saying "Drink". They both said "Drink".
