These are a great alternative to the old style clips you have to push to open. My toddler figured out the other clips quickly so this being a magnetic safety latch is perfect. We put the magnet out of reach if the toddler but my 5 year old is able to work it with no issues.

Cheap plastic junk

Oddly it would be a great idea if they stuck a thicker double sided tape on the plastic mechanism that has the little hook. Then maybe when you use the plastic alignment tool to install it would actually stick. Also the alignment tool needs a tad bigger hole to release the hook mechanism. The hook mechanism gets stuck in the alignment tool. Also the hook part should be bigger and release deeper so there's more wiggle room to install this garbage. Simply, you just need to find tune this design to actually be able to install on drawers and work better
