Couple of issues

I have pasted a letter I sent to Shark regarding this vacuum. It’s sort of long, but I think it’s worth reading. “I am wondering if the Shark company ever tests their prototype vacuums using professional cleaners. I have been a professional cleaner in an office park for years. I have always used the Hoover Air Windtunnel. In fact, I liked that vacuum so much that I have purchased six of them for work, home and cabin. I have friends and family who have purchased them based on my recommendation. Unfortunately, Hoover does not make this vacuum anymore. I have tried many vacuums, returning them all, including one Shark vacuum. I finally settled on the Shark Navigator Swivel Pro Plus Upright Multi Surface Vacuum, NV250. Let me tell you a little bit about your vacuum. It has good suction. It is lightweight. It swivels well. It has too much play in the unit. You end up banging into furniture. The head is not big enough. It needs to be wider. The head is too bulky. It would be nice if it was toned down about an inch, if possible. There is not enough space between the head and the tank to sneak under things like lower desk edges, and under cabinets. The tank is so big that you can’t see the head and what it may run into as well as the distance you have between the head and an object. People who vacuum regularly don’t need tanks that big. The tank also limits how close you can get to vacuuming up to and under an object. The tank should be a sleek narrower design. Gaining even three or 4 inches up to and under an object is a win for anyone. The cord is not long enough. You are never going to get any complaints about having a cord a few feet longer. The cord hook is on the right hand side of the vacuum. It needs to be on the left-hand side as most people are right handed. The cord ends up getting in the way on the right side. A right handed person will end up vacuuming with their left hand so that they can hold the cord in their right hand. Most people vacuum to the full extent of the cord length, so while using the cord hook is OK, the majority of people will hold the cord to gain that extra few feet of reach with the vacuum. Would it be such a huge expense to make the cord out of a soft material. It would make wrapping the cord back up after use much easier. If Hoover can make a vacuum that can go from carpet to hardwood without flipping a switch, then I am sure Shark can make one as well. Having to remember to flip a switch is a huge inconvenience. The hose should come out of the right side of the vacuum so that the hose projectory has the same direction as the wand. Currently, the hose has to cross to the right hand side. Thank you for your attention to this email. I would be happy to answer any additional questions you may have. And I would greatly appreciate it if you sent this email to your research and development department. I think Shark is on the right track for designing the perfect vacuum, but there are just some things that need to be tweaked. Sincerely,
