Ordered the small ones first, in person it was clear they were smaller than what I had envisioned. Returned them and ordered the large set. Those are perfect, about the size of a typical grocery basket, and that is mostly how the wife and I use them. When collapsed, their footprint is reasonably small. We have one in each vehicle, and use them often to shop and save the hassle of loading up hands/arms with bags to get through the parking lot, plus when we get home it's easy to carry the basket right into the house. Also has come in handy to cart Christmas presents to family parties, snacks for camping/road trips, etc. Overall a good buy.
