Good price point, seems to be a decent unit.

I’ve had this installed for about six months now, let me give a few points about living with it: - If you’re deciding between the hassle of plumbing a unit in or having it sit on the counter, plumb it in. I went countertop and I drink more water than I think, so it’s irritating to drag it out from under the cabinetry to refill. - The build quality seems acceptable. If the TDS meter can be trusted, it’s actively reducing dissolved solids from about 150-200 to 3-7. The water coming out of this is equivalent to four gallon jugs you would buy at a large warehouse store. - The instant-hot feature is great for coffee and tea and there are no exposed elements. That’s nice, but it also means if they scale up or threaten to scale enough to impact flow, you’d not know until you would take the machine apart to troubleshoot. I do like that there are several temperature options to choose from. - All in all, this seems a good unit. If the filters can be easily-found and aren’t really expensive, this is a quite capable unit for the price. I’m enjoying mine.

do not order
By Kaylin11197 on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2024
EDIT: product is great, customer service is not. Filter is impossible to order. Also I had a QR code and was suppose to receive a new filter free and they have not sent it. The filter is backordered from what I can see on Amazon and their website. This product is unusable without the filter. Original review: Love this product so far! We got it for making our newborn formula since we have well water. You can see our well water’s total dissolved solids went from 155ppm straight out of the tap to 12ppm after it came out of the machine. Normally our humidifiers would be caked with mineral build up from our water, and after using this we’ve had no buildup yet. The machine’s ppm reading has been within 3ppm of the meter shown in pics & the meter wasn’t very expensive, so I’d say the machine’s ppm reading is accurate. Perfect because we can have it dispense water at 185F over the required 158F temp they say to boil water at to kill bacteria! This avoids us having to boil water on the stove & makes the process so much quicker as the water comes out instantly at the temp of our choosing. It fits our 24oz formula mixer under it which is a added plus. When water is first added to the machine it takes only a few minutes to filter water, and then it filters the rest as you use more water. It’s nice it requires you to dump water that’s sat in the machine too long to keep it as clean as possible. I will be ordering drinking water quality test trips to see what specifically it’s removing!
