Daybed with independent ottoman
By Rodger's Team on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2024
This is small, a bit firm, lower to the ground, daybed, with a pullout trundle feature, creating a bed of sorts was perfect for my aging legs and hips. I needed it as it can function better; it has an independent ottoman, the height of the couch. I cannot climb in and out of any bed these days and found the ottoman feature can be unhinged easily as it is a track with wheels. It still lifts to the height of the couch. Then, I can sit up, moved my legs off of it easily, and push away the ottoman, and stand up from the loveseat. It is mechanical not electric, and I can add cushions as needed. With sore hips and legs, I needed something I can adjust, adapt. A pull out bed or futon you then have to figure out how climb on or off of it was not helpful. I also recommend zero gravity chairs as theyre mechanical and get my legs up without an expensive lifting recliner. Timber Ridge is the best brand.

Nice but definitely not a sleeper.

It's ok to use as a sofa but laying on it to sleep is not ok. You feel the wood and it's structure makes it hard to lay flat because there's barely any padding. Wouldn't recommend as an extra bed/sleeper.

I wish I could give this couch a better review. As you can see, the couch is being used as a dog bed. I’m currently pregnant and training my dog to stay off my bed but still wanted somewhere I can lay with her on occasions. The look of the couch is 5 stars, I love the concept of being able to use it in 3 different ways. Where the low rating comes in place is the comfort, there’s absolutely no way to have a good nap or nights sleep on this thing. You can feel every piece of wood under the cushions. It is horrible…. I plan to buy a mattress pad to use whenever I want to nap or cuddle with my fur baby. Luckily I bought this for my dog and not for guests.

Purchased for my office, wanted to give more than 2 but can't because the functionality of this product is not the best. The mechanism to keep the back up stopped working It is comfortable, no smell, easy to put together
Easy to assemble

Great price for a fold out guest bed. Assembly was simple. Box arrived at 126 lbs but we lightened it a bit by removing the arms, pillows and hardware before moving inside. Don't forget to pull out the piece of packing cardboard that is located inside between the base pieces. It will hinder the slide out feature if you forget to remove it.

Sofa cannot be pushed against wall.

I bought this for my father’s room in an assisted living facility. It is small, which I wanted. It is comfortable to sit on for one person or two more slender ones. I think it will be fine for a guest bed when I need it. My only complaint is because of the way it is designed it can not fit flush against a wall. The bed when folded protrudes from the back of sofa maybe about a foot to a foot and half. Still for my purposes this was an excellent choice, and I am very pleased. My deduction of one star is based solely on the fact that I was not aware of the protrusion to the backside of sofa.

My son was probably too big for this couch to sleep on. It probably would be better for a young person. Recently sold it.
