It keeps me cool in the summer

My parents were sleeping on an older king mattress. I thought ordering this I would get a standard foam mattress topper (I have a 3" one on my bed). But this isn't that. It's a quality mattress pad, but it's not a foam topper. The mattress pad itself is well constructed, but the "foam" is a very thin padding, making this only a hair thicker than a normal mattress pad. But if I'm writing this review for a mattress pad, which is what it really is, the quality is excellent. It fits a king mattress snugly, it's easy to put on the mattress and stays on without bunching or sliding. It's padded, the top is soft and quilted. For $50, it's a solid, quality mattress pad And while the thickness is a little lacking, I can say is that my mom is gong through her life change, and she's mentioned it's been an absolute game changer for night sweats.

I like that it's not crinkly, it's thick and fluffy. The slightly lumpy texture wasn't at all obvious through the fitted sheet. I didn't notice any offense manufacturing smell, despite putting it on my bed less than an hour before sleeping. It fits snuggly around all four corners.

I liked how it looked - soft and had no smell . It felt “cool” to the touch but that’s it ! I put it on my twin bed and the cover was floppy and too big for it ! It fit like a “Full Size “ instead ! Couldn’t use it because of that ! So disappointed! I did for the sake of trying it layed on top of it - It felt “Too “ cool / cold for me . Oh well , didn’t fit anyways !

This is a nice lightweight memory foam mattress pad. Not really thick or very padded. It has a cooling effect. I think this would work great in a guest room. If you really need extra padding this is probably not the item for you. I like it for what it is a little softness between the mattress and sheets.

Our guest room beds mattress pad had seen better days so we were on the lookout for a new one. This Vibe Cooling Memory Foam one looked interesting so I decided to get it. It was nice that there wasn't any odd chemical odor to it despite the fact that the tag states it's made of 100% Polyethylene. There's an info card included, written in a few languages, with care instructions. It states to spot clean & also get a cover for it as it's not waterproof. Well, I don't need it to be waterproof, just a cushion & cover for the mattress. It does feel just slightly cool, however there isn't much memory foam or cushioning to this cover. I'd call it one step above basic. The one we have on our bed is quilted & cushioned, it makes a noticeable difference between having it on or off of our mattress. This one, not that much. Also, it doesn't lay flat on the bed. What I mean is, even though I have it on the bed correctly, tucked under the mattress all around, it doesn't look smooth under the fitted sheet. I don't know if it's a smidgen too big or if it's from all the "quilted" sewing. It doesn't feel lumpy, it just looks unkempt. Thought I would add that for any perfectionist out there. I read the tag that's sewn onto the product. It does says it's machine washable on cold but do not put in a heated dryer. To only line dry it. That info would have been very handy to know prior to ordering. It's not as though this is a T-shirt you can put on a hangar & let it dry on the shower rod. Most people don't have outdoor clothes lines anymore here in the U.S. I'm not sure how this is going to work out. I won't need to launder it that much since it'll be in the guest room but I'm sure others will. I don't know why they'd manufacture such a large item that can't go in the dryer? I'll be putting it in the dryer on low & trying my luck. Will be sure to update later on with the results

While on one hand this memory foam mattress pad is fairly comfortable, I am disappointed that it wasn't cooling enough for me. As someone who sleeps very warm, I was optimistic this would help (on top of a cooling mattress and a cooling pillow), but it didn't make much of a difference overall.

Just so you know, what we're working with on our bed, before putting this on top. 1. 12" medium firm memory foam mattress 2. 3-inch memory foam topper 3. The new vibe quilted memory foam mattress pad 4. 1,000 thread count thread cotton sheets First, we absolutely love this Vibe mattress pad, 100% love it. Now, prior to adding the mattress pad, our memory foam topper was a bit warm but, more importantly I felt it sank in more, throughout the night. Memory foam gets softer, when its warm and firms up, when it's cold. This mattress pad prevents your body heat, from being directly on your mattress or topper, therefore keeping your memory foam strong. If you don't have a memory foam topper, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. Sorry! Yes, I know they put 1/4-inch of memory foam in this pad but, it isn't noticeable as memory foam, personally. However, it is a very well made, heavy mattress pad in comparison, to those light fluffy things that are available. This is where the quilting aspect shines and just makes a world of difference in the bed as a whole. After putting this mattress pad on, it was as if, we just bought a new mattress! Seriously, it made that much of a difference to us. As far as the cooling aspect of it, it probably made somewhat of a difference but, nothing drastic. If you are looking for drastic cooling, you probably won't find it in any mattress pad anywhere honestly. In closing, we recommend you try this mattress pad out, it is great. One more thing to mention is the back side of the pad has a gripping texture, to prevent it from moving on your mattress topper etc. It isn't at all noticeable, while in the bed. It works, it doesn't move at all. A+ Product Note: When opening the package we didn't notice any strange scent or odor, coming from the mattress pad. The price is ridiculous for a thin, 'memory' foam mattress spill cover at most. I can only commend its cooling feel and soft feel at most.

The Vibe cooling memory foam mattress pad has a gel infused 100% polyurethane foam on the interior with a cooling fabric cover over (Photo 1). The cover is white with hexagon shapes and blue stripes throughout (Photo 2). The 70% polyester/ 30% Nylon on top makes it very soft and the 100% polyester on the sides provides some stretch to get over the sides of a queen mattress (Photo 3). After sleeping with this I can confirm that it does provide excellent breathability and cooling. Instantly upon laying on it, I can feel the cooling sensation and I have to say it is fantastic! I was able to sleep in a long-sleeved shirt under my sheet and comforter without waking up throughout the night hot or waking up the next morning sweating. However, it’s not without its faults. Cons – While I was able to sleep throughout the night and didn’t wake up sweating, I did experience some soreness upon waking. While laying on it, I do feel comfortable, so thinking this is just me going through the adjustment phase of a new memory foam pad. Perhaps with time my body will adjust, and the memory foam will mold and conform to my body, fingers crossed. The second issue is the padding is very thin, especially on the sides, this makes me question durability and longevity of this pad (Photo 4). Last issue, the pad is not water resistant. Due to this, it recommends getting a protective cover and to spot clean only, do not put it in your washer (Photo 5).
