I've had a retainer for about a year now and I used to clean it with water and a paper towel, but that doesn't seem to get all the gunk off. My retainer was incredibly dirty and had so much build up in it. I researched several cleaning machines and they all seemed to be over $100 but then I found this one. It's great for the price. I got it today, put my retainer in for 10 minutes and it cleaned it so well it looks new! If you are looking for a retainer cleaner, this is the one. You will not be disappointed. It's easy to use.

Started with problems a couple of months in

We loved this cleaner. It felt well built and worked well for the first couple of months. The UV light stopped working first. Not a huge deal because it still cleaned well. Then a month later, the power button stopped working. Now it’s potentially just another piece of trash in the landfill. We will try to find someone who can recycle the parts but I don’t hold out much hope for that. It’s extremely disappointing.
