Chicago Metallic Whisks, Set of 2

Ok, I know it's only a whisk but I love these!! These are always in the dishwasher too! These work better than the old normal whish I am sure, there are more wires. The shorter handle I think helps too and it seems to fit the hand better too. I have used these on eggs and batters and it performed very well. The eggs whipped up nicely. One thing to keep in mind is more wires and it's smaller frame it's a bit harder to clean than the old balloon whisks so don't let them sit dirty for long. I love these and thankfully you get two, I have a new favorite! I've used these quite a bit and questioned why I never bought them sooner!! Enjoy!

This set includes two whisks described as sizes: small and medium. I think the whisks are on the smaller side. I would describe these more as xtra small (blue) and small (red). I have used the smallest one to mix up dipping sauces and dressings. I use the larger one for whisking eggs and pancake batter. They are easy to grip and feel sturdy. The handles have held up fine, but could be longer for ease of use. We like to hand wash these and they are pretty easy to clean. There’s also a hole in the handle if you want to hang them. We just keep ours in a drawer.

First thing I thought when opening these - what are these, whisks for ants?? In all seriousness, these are okay quality whisks with stiff metal bits, but I didn’t realize how small they were when ordering. The handles are relatively cheap and hollow plastic, so I’m not exactly sure how long they will hold up without breaking. I was hoping for something more normal size and better quality, so I guess I’m still looking!

I love this whisk set, they’re small enough to fit into the big mayo jars and make dips in. Overall a lovely set for any cook or baker, and lovely addition to any kitchen.

I didn't quite realize how small these whisks were going to be when I ordered them, but I'm actually OK with that now that I have them. I already have a big whisk but that's awkward to use in a smaller or shallower dish or when mixing less stuff. These are small enough they're perfect for beating a single egg in a ramekin or a slurry of corn starch or whatever else where a full size whisk would barely get the end into. The whisks feel really well made, the handles are solid, the wires are sturdy. My only real complaint, and why they lose a star, is the size makes them harder to clean. Even if I'm putting them in the dishwasher it's so much easier keeping whisks clean if I make sure stuff doesn't sit stuck on the wires. Because of the size the wires are closer together so it's harder to get between them to make sure the insides of them are clean. The smaller one especially it's more challenging and time consuming. With the size and the cleaning I wouldn't recommend them as your only whisk, but as a compliment for those small uses I think they're good.

The 2 colored handles (Tiel/Red) are the perfect color combination & the 2 different sizes (small & medium) are the perfect size for small or large jobs in your kitchen. I use these for whisking eggs, mixing a cake batter or making a meringue topping. I just love these!!! They are well made & will last forever!!! I got a kid who takes my whisks hostage when I invite them to help. Now I think water may still get trapped in the handle but it'll be fine. The bigger handle gives my kiddo more control. The hole is useful to hang from. Do know these aren't weighted handles despite the handle size. I've had an item change on me in the far past. The whisks are cute and seemed to effectively mix up instant pudding. I didn’t have as great of luck scrambling eggs, but that may be user error.

The Chicago Metallic whisks are simple mini whisks. The whisks are decent and easy to clean, but the price point is high for what they are. The company also has other inexpensive plastic baking items, and I think it would be great if they put them together into a 'My First Baking Set.'

These wisks are sturdy! I love that the handle is made from a really thick plastic. The metal wires are thick and strong as well. It makes whisking my foods a breeze. They are two different sizes,for different needs. The smaller size works great for whisking eggs,while the bigger one is great for whisking gravy and soups. They are priced affordably. They clean easily and hang up for quick drying,or storage.
