Chicago Metallic Cookie Dough Scoop

This dough scoop works great! At first I thought it was a little small but it's the perfect size for classic chocolate chip cookies. It feels well-made and very durable during use. Even thick chocolate chunks didn't get stuck or jam up the release mechanism at all. I appreciate how utilitarian the design is - it's comfortable enough to use, but there are no frilly or extra parts to get in the way. It's easy to clean without too many nooks and crannies where dough can get stuck. When I received the package it was pretty damaged and there were a few areas of discoloration on the metal; it looked like it had been sitting in a warehouse for quite some time. However, this was nothing a good wash couldn't fix. As someone who previously thought that dough scoops were somewhat frivolous, this has made it so much easier and quicker to scoop out uniform balls of dough. I would not hesitate to purchase this if you're even a semi-regular baker.
