oneisall Dog Clippers Grooming

10 stars if I could! Have always groomed my shih tzu his whole life (he's 9). Just upgraded to these and have used them at least 6 or 7 times. They are so much quieter than my Wahls (what I would refer to as the standard black clippers). Mostly upgraded because of the cordless feature...which is so freeing! He's only 10 pounds, so he would notice when the cord would inevitably lay across him. Just added to the confusion and discomfort. He behaves very well, but I could see he doesn't like it..and the different pitched buzzing the old clippers would make was unnerving (even for me), I was always highly cautious of something "going wrong". Never did, but didn't like it either. Now I'm not stuck near an outlet and can trim him directly at the floor on a nice thick (smooth) rug...and in the sunshine of the window...which he loves to bathe in a sunny window. The trim options are standard, with the addition of a very "tiny" head..which is great for his face and foot pads. That was the 2nd reason I purchased these for. They hold a great charge. Can probably trim him 3 times with it only going down one charge light! Haven't tested beyond that, no need to. It has 2 speeds, which at first I thought was odd, but found the slower speed even more quiet and great for his face (with his ears right there!) The slower speed doesn't seem to trim any slower (i'm just naturally moving slower and even more cautiously since its his face), but just gives an added sense of control, especially around the face..atleast for a novice like me. I love these clippers! He hates loud noises, but would tolerate the old loud clippers because he minds very well and is SO trusting of me 🩷, these are so nearly quiet (not totally, of course)..that while he still wants it all over with immediately i can tell he endures these so much better. Trim excellent! Excellent quality! Excellent design! Excellent value!
