If you pack it even slightly full the zipper rips apart, then you have to repack just for the zipper to come apart in another spot. Disappointed in this luggage set. I wanted to love them, but the quality was just okay. As far as it being a hard case, not so much.

I was surprised at how light weight this carry on is. Looks well made with a TSA lock built in. It has all the typical features, telescoping handle, spinner wheels. handles on the top and one side, etc. It is not expandable. Very light but tough.
