This is a really high quality pizza peel for use at home, it's got a nice sturdy surface and handle, which is also fordable! The surface is easy to clean and use, and isn't too sticky once you've got a fine layer of flour on there so pizzas slide off onto my pizza steel. I love the fordable handle, which lets me stick it into the kitchen cupboards after use. It's also lightweight enough to not feel cumbersome as you're handling the pizza, and is surprisingly easy to handle in the kitchen. We've used it a handful of times so far and have been very happy with this pizza peel, it's replaced an older own I had. The price is fair, and I think given the quality of this pizza peel, you'll be hard pressed to find another that's as good at this price point. I would happily recommend this to any budding pizza maker at home and would happily get this as a gift for others as well!

This pizza peel is pretty heavy duty. I'm not sure what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality overall. The folding handle is a nice touch and a necessity when storing this in my cabinet. The size is large enough for any personal pizza that I would make at home, but it's big enough for most freezer pizzas as well. I'm really happy with this kitchen tool and glad to have it.

PROS: Nice gift box packaging, foldable handle for easy storage, ideal size for most pizza ovens, even fits perfectly into the ninja style wood fired smoker oven, strong and thick enough stainless steel to last a long time, easy wipe clean surface. CONS: Your results may vary, but mine had many weird discolored blemishes along the front and sides making the stainless steel look dirty or used, blemishes had no effect on anything other than visually distracting, (possibly just a one-off factory finishing mishap). The fold down handle lock is bit loose, so depending on the angle of attack to your oven when trying to slide a pizza in or out, the handle could fold up on you...ooops. Overall good value for a nice pizza peel and would make a great gift.

For many years I struggled to pull frozen pizzas out of the oven, grabbing it with scissors and balancing it on a regular size turners to pull it onto a pan. I even burned my arm a couple of times, even though I was using oven mitts. I feel foolish that I never considered using a pizza peel before. I guess I thought they were only for making pizza from scratch. This particular peel caught my eye because it folds for easy storage. I thought about starting to make pizza from scratch again, which I had only done a few times before. Once I pulled this peel out of the box, it dawned on me that it was the solution for pulling ANY pizza out of an oven. Henckels is a dependable brand that I trust because everything I got from them before has been superior quality. Mine arrived flawless. The handle is easy to fold and unfold. There are no issues with it wobbling. It fits nicely on it's side next to my pans. I this that's the best way to store it rather than laying it flat between pans where it could be damaged. i am very happy with my purchase.

After making pizzas at home for years, I finally have this handy pizza peel and what a difference it makes. After stretching the dough, I transfer the pizza onto this peel with a little bit of cornmeal underneath and the pizza slides right onto the oven stone. the foldable handle is convenient for storage. Easy to clean and seems well made. No more lifting the hot stone from the oven to slide my pizza off.

We usually have frozen pizza or make pizza from scratch at least once per week. We all love pizza, we ARE Italian, and plus it is a quick and easy meal. Making frozen pizza in the toaster ovens is really convenient and easy. But when making homemade pizza, we have to use the actual oven because the pizza is too large for the toaster ovens. I have always admired those guys working in the pizza places and the way they use their peels so quickly and effectively. When making the pizza in the oven, I get to use this Henckel pizza peel to put the pizza in, rotate it while it cooks, and to take it out of the oven. The peel has some weight to it, which I expected since Henckels makes high quality products. The stainless steel is strong and you will feel confident that the pizza will stay on the peel regardless of weight. The handle is foldable when not in use to save cabinet or shelf space. We have other Henckels kitchenware and have always been pleased with it. This peel is no different. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves making their own pizza at home. The steel base is sturdy but a bit thinner than I expected and has some mild discoloration along the edges as if from an acid wash. The handle, especially its thick silicone core, is heavy-duty but there's a little vertical wobble due to the looseness of the slider. And it's not possible to hang the peel while the handle is folded, necessitating greater wall space. It's minor stuff, but Henckels is charging 50% more than NutriChef, which already offers a nearly identical peel. Given the premium brand and higher price, it's a solid pizza peel that just doesn't hit it out of the park.

Unfortunately we didn't measure this before ordering and it's much too large for the mouth of our pizza oven. Definitely check before ordering! The quality seems nice, and if you have a large oven this seems like it would work great for larger pizzas - but we won't be able to use it.
