Faulty product and didn't support noted warranty

I received this product with documentation that it was under warranty for 6 months as a renewed item. It stopped working prior to that timeframe so I contacted the manufacturer Dyson and they confirmed with several people that they couldn't support the warranty because the seller was not from the authorized Dyson store. I reached out to the seller who said it was past the return period and they couldn't do anything for me even though it needed to be replaced.
