Better than expected when unboxed

Very surprised with this. When received it appeared to be small compared to what I was replacing. I was going to return but after using it I've found that it is a very functional dehumidifier. It is in my basement therefore noise is not an issue, but I don't consider it loud. The holding tank is smaller than my old unit and I need to empty twice a day. For what I've paid it is a good value. The question will it hold up? Happy so far.

The product never worked from the beginning. I was very disappointed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this item based on the reviews at Amazon and the price was cheaper that comparable products. I tried to use it for three days. The compressor runs without any condensation of moisture. The owners manual had no warranty papers or warranty information. There was no phone number to call for help in the manual. I called Amazon and explained the situation. They arranged for a return of the product.
