We don't use this daily, but it serves our needs really well. It is noisy, but it's a blender, it's going to be noisy. I like the push function rather than a button because it makes the "engine" easy to wipe and clean. No inset behind the button to get gunk into. Here are the ways I've used it that it's worked really well for: - Milling flax seeds, made a *beautiful* fine powder. It blitzed them in less than a minute. - Making dressings or sauces with a blend of this like onion, avocado, herbs, spices and other ingredients - More liquid-y smoothies with frozen fruit, yogurt for milk - Greek yogurt consistency chutney with dates and spices It was just ok at an acai smoothie bowl, but we've tried that in a $400 Vitamix and that was just ok too. I don't think any blender does that ultra thick, "hold it upside down" consistency without some fuss like shaking it aggressively every 40 sec. When we did that, it worked great. Two things I really like about it are the different size jars and its washability. I use the smaller jar for the flax seeds. And the large jar is just a bit bigger than you need which is great when you need extra space for bulkier ingredients. This blade piece unscrews completely from the jar and the gasket/seal comes off easily. (That's why he's hated the Ninja, it was fussy to clean.) There are no weird "wells" where the water pools and doesn't dry. Since I use this for sweet and savory things, it was important to me that I could take it all apart and put it in the dishwasher. The taller cup fits fine in the top rack of the dishwasher. It says not to put the blade in the dishwasher but it has been fine. I have a utensil drawer at the very top of my dishwasher so it's not getting heat on it. My only worry is the silicone seal gasket ring will eventually degrade and then I won't be able to use this anymore. But maybe I'll order replacements now.

Broke aft 3 mos use, smelled burnt & left melted plastic shards under it, worried if fire hazard

I did like this smoothie machine, It had good accessories three cups The cups were good size for the large ones and a cute half size one. I made one smoothie a day most days, but it broke after 3 months. It has a shut off when it gets warm it stops working, not even hot just warm.. I liked it but I'm unsure about buying this again, I'm not sure if it's dangerous after this last time when it broke and smelled like it caught on fire inside, left little plastic shards underneath the vent underneath the blender, I feel like it should have shut off before whatever happened inside broke it. But it wasn't running really long before it started having that burnt smell and then The blades stopped spinning.. I make one smoothie everyday at lunch, and I have done so since I received it at Christmas, but it died today, in March, I thought it had died once before because sometimes I would try to make two smoothies one for me and one for my son, and it has a self shut off when it gets warm, and even following the only blend for 1 minute at a time rule stuck to the side, it still gets warm and shuts itself off trying to do the second smoothie in a row, then I have to wait until it decides that it is cooled down enough to start working again. At first I thought I broke it because it just stopped, I push down on the cup like it usually blends when you do, but then it just had nothing no noise, no power, nothing, thankfully the next day I went to use it and it worked. That's how I learned about the self shut off. My recent problem of it breaking now, for sure, makes me uneasy if it's dangerous to buy again, I was making one smoothie again, I use spinach and mix it with some milk, then I add Frozen blueberries four strawberries, and 10 banana slices, I shake it all up and blend it one minute at a time like the directions say, until it's at smoothie consistency, sometimes I have to get a better knife and move things around inside because the liquid isn't getting around for it to blend well. Not this time though this time after a minute of blending I stopped like I do, and it had a burnt smell coming from it, like burnt plastic or hair, it smelled bad. So I felt it but it wasn't hot at at, It was barely even warm Just slightly above room temperature,, I unplugged it, let it cool down, and I came back 10 minutes later, plugged it back in and tried it again, again the smell started, and it was making the blending noise, but it wasn't spinning anything, it wasn't moving the blades, but the motor was going from the sound of it, also the smell was so bad I turned it off unplugged it and I lifted it up to see if it was warm, and then I smelled the bottom where the vent is, and it smelled like burnt plastic, when I picked it up off the counter, there was all this tiny little black pieces underneath the vent, it looks like pieces of ash I guess but it was little pieces of plastic, little pieces of burnt plastic all over the counter underneath the blender. I'm pretty sure it burned so much that it made little sprinkles everywhere of melted plastic on my counter. Which is scary. I really liked This blender And it was a gift from my son, I've been trying to get healthy and eat more vegetables and fruit, I loved the size of the cups, I love that there was two big ones and one small one, and the extra lids were great. But it stopped working after 3 months, and smells and shows evidence of burning inside which is scary so I'm unsure what to do now. I hate that I have all these extra cups that if I buy a different one, won't work with a new different blender system. Anyway that's my review. If I could have changed anything obviously I would have loved if I could make two smoothies one after another, without it getting too warm and stopping, also that it died after 3 months, also I would like if it had a bit more powered so that it could blend all of the fruit including frozen pineapple, and would mix all the way to the top of the cup when turned on.. I used it to make smoothies with spinach, frozen strawberries, blueberries, bananas, yogurt, almond butter, peaches and watermelon.. I realized it could not do frozen pineapple because of the fiber strings in the pineapple, it gets stuck on the blades.. Also it does not destroy the skin of the blueberries when it blends it, blueberries and sometimes my spinach even both get accumulated and stuck on the blades & then aren't as efficient at blending all the other fruit frozen or otherwise..

This machine works really well. My son uses it daily, after three months, one of the cups cracked. I cannot say enough good things about the customer service. They took care of it, right away. Once again, it is really nice to find a company that stands behind their product! Definetely recommend!
I would purchase again!😁

Pretty Amazing

Ok, this machine is pretty powerful. I was reluctant at first to puchase it, but I'm so glad I did. It's not super duper powerful, but I've found the best way to crush ice in my protein shake it to push / pulse the drink up into the motor. This allows the ice to settle to the bottom and break down. Two features I absolutley love are the rubber suction cup feel on the bottom of the motor. This baby isn't slipping on a wet counter top, nor is it going to vibrate off the counter. Another great feature is the "shaker lid". I call it a strainer lid because when I'm blending a protein shake I can strain out any clumps or ice that may still be chunky. All lids screw on the their cup/bases which blows away a different on I have where I have to hold it on or it'll all be on the floor. This was a great purchase and I see it lasing a long time as it does not appear to be cheaply put together. I've even mistakenly dropped the cups on the floor and they bounced, and did not chip. Now I won't try to do this, but it was nice nothing chipped or cracked. Glad I got this!!

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

I bought this unit in late September, 2024, and did not use it more than a total of ten times before it could not be used anymore! The reason: There are two gear wheels (cogwheels) in this unit, one on the motor module and one on the blade units. These need to engage for the blades to start turning and do the blending, grinding, etc., job. The wheel on the blade unit is made of a soft, silicon type, rubber, indicating the level of the IQ of the designer. The one on the motor unit is made from a low-resistance kind of plastic! Yes, plastic for a part, that due to the high speed and power of the machine's function, wears and breaks in no time. The wheels also produce a good bit of smoke due to the overheated material that is unsuitable for the job they are supposed to do. In my unit, the motor unit cogwheel broke into pieces after only about ten (at the most) uses and went directly to the garbage can. DO NOT buy this or you'll be throwing your money in your garbage can! I wish there were negative rating stars. Since there are not, I had to go with the lowest available, that is, ONE to rate this sham product.

Very good for grinding spices, coffee, making drinks etc. I felt that it took too long to make a small amount of nut butters so only 4 stars.
