Great Set Of Dishes For Any Occasion And Decor

This is a very nice set of dishes. They can easily be used at a formal gathering but not so formal that they couldn’t be used every day. I absolutely love that they are not only dishwasher and microwave safe, but they are also oven safe as well (up to 450 degrees). All three pieces are a nice usable size as well. I’ve gotten used to dishes that have one or more pieces that are either too big or too small for my use and have to be stored but not these. I’m like Goldie Locks and the tree bears, the dinner plates, salad plates and the bowls are not too big, not too small, but just right. Honestly, the salad plate suites me best as far as size goes for everyday but sometimes the larger plates are what’s needed. As I said, these are wonderfully usable for no matter what the occasion. The white goes with any décor and they have just enough decoration to be tasteful and not gaudy. They are a usably beautiful set of dishes for every style and occasion. I love these!

Epensive Starter set

Very expensive starter set! It is nice set but it doesn't have anything going for it above and beyond the 16 piece sets you can buy at any box store at half the price. The style is simple and elegant. They feel nice in hand but are definitely on the heavy end for porcelain. The plates are annoying because they have a slight convex rise in the middle which makes anything you serve with a sauce pool around the rise like a moat. It also means they stack unevenly. Someone else decribed it as "wavy" which is right. At $60 with a brand name associated with quality these miss the mark.
