YES, THE RING FALLS OFF AND RENDERS THIS UNUSEABLE- becomes a piece of junk for the landfill. Plastic isn't going to do the trick and this is basically a beautiful piece of junk sadly. I want my money back but it will last long enough to go past the return date. BUYER BEWARE!!!
