There were so many rave reviews, I thought the quality would be better. But, I believe that sometimes reviews are based on appearance without having the opportunity to actually use the item. Now that I’ve had mine for a few weeks, here are a few points to keep in mind. It takes a long time for them to heat up. It tells you not to use high heat, so be prepared to wait longer than usual for your food to heat and cook. If you cook an egg without any butter, the egg will form a dark covering comparable to a soft brown crust, and I don’t like that. I don’t mind crispy, but this is not crispy. When I received my pans, the box was very damaged. There were no dents to the pans, however, there were surface scratches to one pan. I did not want to return them for that, so I kept them. Having them for a while now I’ve noticed that they do easily surface scratch. You’re not supposed to use these in the dishwasher, so I hand wash all, but I also have a stainless steel sink and I see now where there are additional scratches to the sides of the pan. I have not tried to erase those with maybe baking soda, but they will not come off with regular washing. On the other side, these are perfect for me because they are smaller, although I do wish they would’ve left out the protectors and included a smaller frying pan instead. But that leads me to believe they know there is a problem with scratching that’s the choice they made for protectors over another pan. Let me end by saying they just don’t make anything of quality to last like when I was growing up and I assume these will not last very long either. If I had my choice, I would most likely not purchase these again.
