Exactly what I needed!

I am thrilled with this set. I either make 5 loaves or 2, and I have struggled to find starter jars that are the right size. The big one is perfect for 5 loaves, it fits plenty of starter without my having to worry about it overflowing. The small one is great for 1-2 loaves, so I don't have to use a huge jar for a small amount of starter. I like that there are markings in multiple measurements, they're attractive and the quality is good. My only complaint is the small jar is shorter than the thermometer sticker so I had to cut it, but I'm not sure there's a way to avoid that. Overall, 10/10, very happy!

Ok but

This isn't really a 'wide mouth' jar. My other wide mouth I can stick my hand in to wipe the sides down, this jar I can't do that. This jar also isn't completely rounded, it's more like a rounded square. There are four distinct sides, measurements are on two of them, cups on one side, ml on the other. The other two sides are blank. There's no 'last fed on' line, so what I did was take one of the bumps and I'm using that to keep track of feedings. Not sure I'd buy it again knowing what I do now. You'll have to pour from it because there's no way you can get a spoon or ladle down into it. Also can't scrape down the sides easily. Lid seems to be good for now, the cloth cover had threads sticking out of it, like it wasn't properly sewn. I may or may not use it as a result. The glass is nice, the glass indent numbers are hard to read with my AP starter. You might have a better idea if you're using it with a whole wheat or rye starter.
