Didn't work for me..

This was my first try at using a sleep mask- so perhaps sleep masks just aren't my thing- but I have a lot of light from outdoors in my bedroom at night and thought a sleep mask would improve my ability to fall asleep and so I gave this one a try. The issues with this one for me are the bulk, and the lack of flexibility due to the materials. I sleep on my side, and this seems designed for back sleepers only- there really is not way to get this mask to work comfortably and not have big gaps while sleeping on your side. I can see this perhaps being useful for me on an airplane or car-ride, but I had hoped to use it for regular sleeping. If you routinely sleep on your side, I don't think this will work for you, but if you sleep on your back, this could be really great! It is comfortable to wear, although the strap sits at an awkward spot on me and annoys my ears a bit.
