VEXON 16 Gas Pizza Oven

I am in search of a perfect backyard oven. I am afraid this one is not it. It bakes the crust too well. Within one minute it incinerates. Bottom is underbaked. Tried once without adjustment and once turned down to the lowest possible flame. Not much of a difference. Both times middle of the stone was about 800F. Both times top burned before the bottom baked. Next will try to turn it off completely and give it couple minutes for the bottom to bake. I will post the update but not very hopeful. I think it will be a returner. Update. I tried to turn off flame completely after the stone is over 800F. It did not help much. Other problem is narrow opening making launching pizza exactly in the middle very difficult. If not centered, one side burns while the other is underbaked. The burner heat is so intense that pizza burns withing one rotation. I think, this oven would do a lot better with fixed, thicker stone and no rotation. It is going back.
