The mixing paper stays flat and doesn't move at all when the sponge is wet. I use the paper for acrylic gouache and the lid for traditional gouache.

Paint was only in here two days a fay later than i planned. Had it covered with a rubber band around it. As you can see in one picture, the paint did not go past the edge of the provided paper. Somehow it’s saturated through the paper through the foam, and I had a puddle of paint in the bottom of the tray.
