8" Professional Chef Knife

30yr career chef. I gift friends knives for home use. This knife is terrible. The handle inserts aren't anywhere close to meeting the tang for comfort, sharp metal edges digging into your hand and fingers. The printed damascus pattern looks ridiculous and is applied as well as a temporary tattoo. I know what to expect from a knife under $100 and you get what you pay for, but get alot more for what you pay elsewhere. Just bought 2 other knives at $20 that exceed this in every category, thinking I was treating someone to this gift. It gets 2 stars for a really nice box that fools ppl, and it has ok balance. The edge isn't terrible but will need constant attention.
