A Breath of Fresh Air

Before diving into the details, let me be clear: I love this air filter, and I believe it was absolutely worth the investment. Now, let’s explore why it has exceeded my expectations. Performance First and foremost, the filter works exceptionally well. It features a powerful blower fan that moves a significant amount of air. After letting it run for just a day, the air quality in my home noticeably improved. My asthma symptoms have diminished, and I no longer wake up feeling congested or stuffy. Smart Sensor Technology In addition to effectively filtering the air, this unit comes with a built-in sensor that detects dust levels. I’ve tested this feature by shaking dusty objects near it, and the sensor accurately responds to even small fluctuations. When I first set it up, the fan ran at a high speed for a few hours, likely to clean the initial air. Now, it only ramps up briefly when triggered by dust, which shows how well it’s maintaining the air quality. Noise Levels Sound is a concern for many buyers, and it was something I was mindful of before purchasing. Since it uses a blower-style motor, the fan can move a lot of air, which means it can get noisy at higher speeds. On its highest setting, it’s about as loud as an air fryer. However, the auto mode—which adjusts the fan speed based on air quality—has been a game-changer. I included a photo demonstrating the speed it usually runs. It is moving a lot of air and I cannot hear it. In my experience, the fan runs on low most of the time, and at that setting, it's practically inaudible. Occasionally, it will spike for a few seconds, but even then, the noise is minimal. If I were to run it on maximum speed constantly, it could become annoying, but with the auto-adjust feature, this hasn’t been an issue. During the several days I have been using it I have hardly noticed it at all. Final Thoughts Overall, I am incredibly happy with this air filter. It effectively improves air quality, has smart features that make it easy to use, and remains quiet the majority of the time. If you’re looking for an air filter that delivers excellent performance without being disruptive, I highly recommend this one. It’s made a massive difference in my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase.

The one thing I don't like about this purifier is the inlet holes where it draws in the dirty air. When you open it up later to see how clean or dirty the filter is, the filter is only dirty where the holes are and that is not even half the filter. The inlet to suck in air should be long slats that cover the entire length of the filter. It's such a waste of filter use.

Such a good product! I love how small it is and can fit almost anywhere. The design of it is also very modern looking so it doesn’t stick out in a room. It is very quiet and works like a charm. I’ve noticed the house smells more fresh since I’ve been using this and I’ve noticed less dust. It has a sleep mode which shuts the light off and makes the fan very quiet. It also has multiple fan speeds as well as an auto mode and a timer. It has 2 hepa filters, one on each side.

I recently purchased this HEPA air filter on Amazon, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. The dual HEPA filters make a noticeable difference in air quality, capturing dust, allergens, and even pet dander with ease. Within just a few hours of use, I could feel a significant improvement in the freshness of the air in my home. It runs quietly, which is a big plus, allowing me to keep it on throughout the night without any disturbance. The sleek design also blends well with any room décor, making it a stylish yet functional addition to my space. One of the standout features of this air purifier is its adjustable settings. The built-in timer allows me to set it for a few hours or let it run continuously, which is perfect for managing air circulation throughout the day. The multiple fan speed options provide flexibility, whether I need a gentle purification mode or a more powerful setting after cooking or during allergy season. I appreciate that even at its highest speed, it remains relatively quiet and efficient, ensuring that clean air is distributed without unnecessary noise. Additionally, the lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to move from room to room. Whether I need it in the bedroom, living room, or even my home office, I can carry it effortlessly without hassle. The setup was simple right out of the box, with clear instructions and intuitive controls. For anyone looking for a high-quality air purifier that delivers excellent performance and convenience, I highly recommend this one. It’s a great investment for a healthier indoor environment!

I'm very happy with this new air purifier. We frequently have air quality issues in my neighborhood due to wildfires, but my apartment is now filled with fresh clean air. I love the air quality indicator and the automatic setting that responds to the current indoor air quality by increasing and decreasing the level of operation according to measurement. I simply leave it on all the time and never even worry about whether it is working like it should. Whenever I come home, the air smells fresh and clean, even the fragrance of my plug-in air fresheners are more subtle. The unit is well-constructed, compact and light, but powerful. It is very quiet and aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommended by me, thank you!

I’m genuinely impressed by how well this air purifier performs. Within just a few hours of running it, I noticed the air in my home felt noticeably fresher and cleaner. It’s compact and sleek enough to fit seamlessly into any room, and the super quiet air flow makes it ideal for workspaces…sometimes I forget it’s even on. The filter is easy to install and doesn’t require any confusing setup. If you’re looking for an affordable but highly effective air purifier, this one’s a great choice. I’m already planning to get a second unit for another room. Highly recommend!

I've updated my review because customer service is outstanding. I was disappointed that the app didn't work with our cell phones and tablet and left a cautionary, one star review. As soon as the review went live the company emailed me me and offered a more than gracious, immediate solution. As far as the unit goes, it performs as advertised; mechanically. We purchased it for my daughter who suffers from pet allergies. Since running the unit on its automatic sensing setting, we have noticed much fewer sneezing episodes in the morning as she gets ready for the day. It is definitely a quality unit and I would highly recommend it for allergy sufferers. The room has a much fresher feel to it as well. We have a litter box that gets used and I've forgotten it's even in here! Once set on it's automatic sensing setting, this really is a plug and play machine; the photosensitive sensor does all of the air cleaning for you by adjusting the fan speed according to the air quality. I saw this first hand when my wife's hair straightener burned off a small amount of hair product. It sizzled as it burned off of the heating surface and a few seconds later, the fan sped up to filter the air. It definitely works and I would recommend this one.
Impressively responsive sensor, consistent low PM2.5 readings below 10, and great air quality,

High Level Summary: Infrared-Laser Sensor, ACM (Air Cycles Per Minute), and Air Quality Results are on-point. Ad listing specs are, at best, a hot mess.... The Good: Within 5 minutes of arriving at my door, I unboxed, installed filter, plugged in, and powered up with little effort. I appreciate it's sleek design (All my appliances are white). The two air intakes support it's high ACM capacity - I placed my hand just above the output grill and felt the intense force of air rushing between my fingers. The smell of the purified air is refreshing. Watching the PM2.5 sensor reading is intriguing - seeing a measure of the air quality in my space and witnessing the downward trend of air contaminants removed over the next hour. I ran it on Turbo mode (cause, who wouldn't when getting a new toy?), in my 8,000 cubic foot living room - within the hour, the air felt and smelled cleaner. Switched to the auto mode - this little guy is intelligent! I can trust him adjusting the air flow based on the sensor's readings. The Bad: All the product ad listings for the Dayette brand Air Purifiers are at best, a hot mess... I reviewed over 50+ AP ads - learning about the specs and measured performance surrounding Air Purifiers. CADM has two values - CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute Airflow Rate) and M3/H (Cubic Meters of Air Filtering Rate). ACH (Air Cycle per Hour Rate). Max Square Footage Space (total SF that can cycle all the air in 1 hour). Understanding all these stats gave me data to compare like for like stats between different models and respective pricing. What does all this long-winded feedback have to do with this model? The Dayette Ads: All the ads are inconsistent, conflicting, and the company does not acknowledge the examples provided. This unit's model number is 'AP303' (and the unit I got does say model AP303 on the label)… But AP303 is the name of an older model design with a much lower ACH rate with a round filter. Try searching for a replacement filter for this listing’s unit - you'll find the only ones listed with 'AP303' are round, when this model has a flat-rectangular design. I can’t get a replacement filter yet… This unit advertises it can cycle an entire 3000 sf space in about an hour. That calculates to about a CADR CFM value of 400, which is high. Check out the other Dayette ads – there’s 2 other models that advertise 3000 sq ft capacity… All three ‘3000sf models’ are priced differently. This one is $149.00. *Another 3000sf is priced at $154.00 – that one states the model’s name is a AP401 and reads ‘continuous powerful purification for large rooms Up to 3000 Sq Ft’. Why doesn’t it specify the per hour rate like this ad? To add confusion, a photo on the right states it has a max sf space capacity of 1720sf per hour. One unit that has a capacity for large rooms up to 3000sf, and a max capacity of 1720sf? Are they trying to sell a much lower end unit at a higher price? Does it have 3000, or 1720sf capacity? The detail is so small… but I caught it. My first purchase was this model, which seemed like a great deal, until I caught the 1720 reference… Even if the unit I got was 3000, how could that be validated? Dayette team didn’t address the concern, so I returned it. *The 3rd ad for a 3000sf model runs at $169.00. claims it purifies up to 3,000 sq ft per hour,500 sq ft per 10 min. A photo on that ad calls it the AP401 model (the same name as the 2nd listed one listing a 1720sf / hour cycle rate). Scroll further down to see the product details to read the model is an AP303 (the same as this listing’s model name). Is this model a AP401 and AP303 that offers 3000sf max capacity with a 1720 / hour cycle rate and a 3000sf / hour cycle rate? My point – I invest in a brand – and find it hard to trust any unit’s actual specs (which in my opinion is the entire point of choosing a product – based on its advertised specs). All 5-6 listed ads contain conflicting info. Why did I keep this unit? It listed the most consistent data between all three, and I’m impressed with its performance. And I am still waiting to see how Dayette’s team addresses my concerns. I also own the AP403 model (4000sf capacity) due to its ad with more consistency, and that unit is a powerhouse. But… I still don’t know if I got what’s advertised at the price it was listed for. I hope this review was helpful – yup, super long-winded. But when you come across something that doesn’t seem right, then discover more and more somethings that support something isn’t right, I feel the ‘right thing to do’ is share that experience. Is their misinformation in ads intentional to confuse and charge more for lower quality product? With details this tiny, most wouldn’t catch them (unless you’re a dude like me that over-analyses antying that doesn’t make sense.) You are the consumer - compare the ads, challenge what’s claimed, and good luck on your hunt. Don’t be a victim of false ads – do you research. I believe Dayette has a great ‘product’, but the ‘brand name’ simply can’t be trusted until they get their inconsistent ad content mess cleaned up. Thanks for listening. 😊

I have found some very significant benefits of owning and using this air purifier. I live in a relatively small home with 5 people, 2 cats and 2 dogs. It can get pretty dusty and covered in pet dander pretty quick. One thing that bothers me very much is that I try and keep the home decent and as clean as I can, but the pet smell is very hard to get rid of. I absolutely despise the smell of cat litter boxes and do everything I can (short of getting rid of the cats) to stop the smell. This machine has made a significant and positive impact on the smell in my home. It is almost silent, but still very strong. The filters feel like they are of very good quality. It is basically plug and play. I just turn on auto mode and check out the number on the display when I walk by. One of the great benefits of this purifier is the tracking of air quality. The downstairs of my home where I placed it is hard floors without carpet. I try to vacuum often, but get busy and lose track sometimes. The gauge on this machine kind of indirectly reminds me when my floors are getting bad enough to impact the air quality. No joke, I have tested it 3 times. When the light turns green and the numbers are above 40 I know I have to break out the vacuum and bu the time I am all finished, I see the numbers drop back down in the blue. Seriously, picture 1 is before vacuuming (notice the cat tracking litter on the floor) and 2 is afterwards. I am likely going to get another one for the upstairs because I am so impressed with this one.

I recently purchased a portable air purifier and couldn't be happier with its performance! From the moment I turned it on, I noticed an immediate improvement in the air quality of my space. It’s incredibly well-made, exuding a sense of durability and quality craftsmanship that gives me confidence in its longevity. One of my favorite features is how quietly it operates. Even on its highest setting, the purifier is barely audible, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful environment without constant background noise. It's perfect for use in bedrooms or offices where silence is valued. Overall, this portable air purifier has been a fantastic addition to my home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their indoor air quality with a reliable and efficient device.

I've had this about one month and this is a great air purifier. It has eliminated my daughter's and my use of wipes for our noses by filtering out allergents. I did not expect this machine to do such a great job, but it did. I bought another two for the bedrooms. It is a great value and performs equally to the high-end purifier we also own. Afterall, it's really about the filters and the Dayette filters are great.
