Good Scale, GREAT price, but a little small if you're a big person. I downloaded the VESync app and turned on the Bluetooth setting on my iPhone, connected the scale, and that worked. It took me 2 months to finally figure out how to properly use it. First open the VESync app, THEN step on the scale, and it will send your weight and BMI to the app, which will track your weight every time you use it, and has a lot of other features, too. But I wanted to see the weight data in the Apple Health app, as well. You have to ask the right questions of Google, figure out how to then connect the app to the Apple Health app, then it will send the data to the Health app. Click on the scale from the Home screen, click on the gear (settings) icon, then click on Third Party Services, then, click on Apple Health. (or other apps) I am very satisfied with it now that it finally does what the description says it would do, one of the main reasons I chose this scale over the others.
