ELABEST Ergonomic Office Chair

I’ve been very lucky to have been able to take my back for granted for the last 10 years. Years ago I had two back surgeries and the pain leading up to them was horrible. So a few weeks ago when I started to have severe pain in my back and leg it really scared me. I sit at a desk all day for work, and my chair was very much past its prime. I didn’t want to spend $1000 for one of the big name brands, but I needed a new chair with firm lumbar support. This chair got strong ratings and I liked that the description mentioned that it was adjustable for various heights. The neck and keg rests were not essential for work, but were nice features as were the adjustable lumbar height and arm rests. I decided to take a chance on this as the price seemed fair and it seemed to meet all my needs. I’m glad that I did! This chair requires quite a bit of assembly, but it comes with very clear instructions. The parts are well labeled, and it ships with a handled Allen wrench which made the assembly easy. I don’t consider myself particularly handy, but the directions were easy to follow. I did have a glitch with the assembly and called Amazon for help. They directed me to call the company’s post purchase helpline. It was Friday evening and they were closed, so I planned to call them back on Monday. Much to my surprise, they reached out to me on Saturday apologizing for missing my call and asking how they could help. They gave me some instructions on how to proceed, and when I wasn’t able to fix it, they promised to replace the parts and asked me to send the serial number. Much to my embarrassment, I then realized that I had made a mistake and was able to easily correct it. I contacted the company apologizing for my error and letting them know that the chair was fine. I have not received this level of customer service in a very long time. The people that helped me were all very proactive, kind and attentive. They made what might have been a frustrating situation very pleasant. The chair itself is sturdy, attractive and very supportive. The seat cushion is mesh and a bit hard, but I actually like that in terms of support; some might want to add a cushion for a softer seat. I like that the height is easily adjustable so that I can sit with both feet properly on the floor. The seatback can be reclined and locked into place. The neck support tilts for comfort, the lumbar support is height adjustable, and the leg support is a nice little luxury. This is not the most luxurious chair available, but for the price I think it is an amazing value. I’m very pleased with the chair and am extremely impressed with the wonderful customer service!
