Somewhere in the Middle

Being a 3-in-1 apparatus is pretty sweet, but it doesn't come without having some tough competition.

I'd say if I had to list inventions in history on a sliding scale, I'd place this Pure Guardian air purifier somewhere close to fluoride, but not quite as high as the toaster.

Having teeth that don't rot out of your head is pretty important. And I guess so is having clean, breathable air. So as far as 3-in-1 digital air cleaning systems go, this one is at the top of its class. It can pretty much do it all: capture allergens, control odors and fungi on the surface of the filter and kill viruses with a UV-C light as they pass through the system.

But where the 3-in-1 Pure Guardian fails that the toaster excels is its ability to toast things. Like English muffins, for example, or even Pop Tarts. Ever try to eat an un-toasted Pop Tart? Yeah. Exactly. So it's toaster for the win! Pure Guardian is second, though.
