Chastity woke up with the first rays of light, even before her alarm clock went off. She pushed aside the down comforter. This would be a wonderful day.

She'd been so warm and cozy in her 250 thread count comforter. But now she was in college! And she had responsibilities! She couldn't just snuggle into a pair of feather/down pillows all day! She had to attend a very important class!

As she skipped through the green green grass of her campus, Chastity couldn't help but feel the joy bubble up from inside her. She'd never slept this well at home. Maybe it was the two coordinating shams that made her feel so well rested, or maybe it was just the freedom. Yes, the freedom! The freedom she'd never had at home! Why, she and Purity had stayed awake until 11pm last night, just talking about life, and ideas, and the things they would be learning, and how they couldn't wait to find a better roommate for Honor next door. Purity fell asleep first, and Chastity had giggled politely. What a lightweight her new best friend was! And yet, Chastity was asleep shortly after.

But it was all for the best. Now Chastity was near the fountain, and thought... why not? She kicked off her shoes and jumped into the water. The passers-by started to clap and cheer as she splashed her way past a large white duck. Chastity opened her eyes and rolled over. The room was chilly and she pulled her 5-piece comforter set closer. The clock read 11:30am. She had missed most of her classes and would never make it to her 11:45 recitation. Chastity sighed. College was a lot easier in her dreams.
