Guess what? You can ALREADY get a robot who does your work! It's called a dishwasher!

Everybody panics about the upcoming "robot revolution" but be honest: it already happened. Today you live surrounded by machines that do the work a person used to do, and you've got more leisure time than any generation before you. Video games? Novels? TV? They all exist because we need something to do with our evenings besides cleaning our dishes.

Now, maybe there's some moral debate you're thinking about here. Maybe you're thinking OH GOOD HEAVENS WITHOUT A DISHWASHER I WOULD HIRE SOMEONE TO DO THAT JOB AND I AM DESTROYING WORK. To which we reply: nah. Seriously, look at your lifestyle. Would you want to pay some live-in Downton Abbey-style scullery maid to handle your dish issues between five and ten? Even knowing you'll still have to pay her when you work late or eat out? HECK NO.

The robot revolution will take jobs away from humans. But sometimes, the humans aren't going to mind not having to do all the jobs.
