Being an alligator hunter requires thinking like an alligator, breathing like an alligator, and, of course, living like an alligator.

Those crocodile hunters get all the credit. They get the TV shows and the movies while people like me spend morning, day, and night taking on a foe just as formidable: gator.

Fighting gator requires more than simple hunting instincts. It also requires replicating a gator's way of life every chance I get.
