No one would ever suspect Crimson City’s protector owes his strength to a candle holder!

Behold! A scarlet bolt streaks across the sky! The citizens of Crimson City collectively gasp with wonder as their gaze is pulled upward at the awesome sight. Their minds race with questions, fear, and admiration at the figure above! Who is that masked man? How does he wield such fanciful power? Where could he come from?

If only they knew! But later, away from prying eyes, at a palatial estate in the mountains outside of town, that bold figure alights on the rooftop and enters via a secret door! That’s right, The Scarlet Scorcher is none other than Dirk Humble, Crimson City’s most eligible bachelor and richest citizen! But by what means does he hold such incredible powers? Only Dirk knows for sure!

“No one must ever know the secret of my powers,” he thinks to himself. He mutters a sacred oath centuries old and the swirling magical flame that envelopes his body returns, like a spinning scarlet whirlwind, to the Riptide 5-Tealight Rail 3-Pack on his dresser! “Here the solemn flames of Saratak are safe! No one would suspect this decorative tealight rail would hold such a mystical gift from the beyond! And by a simple intonation of the oath I took swearing to use their power only for good, I can call them to my body once more and help fight crime!”

But as our hero relaxes after a hard day’s work fighting crime, he fails to notice a sinister figure lurking on the mansion grounds! What nefarious plot could this shadowy villain have in store for the Scarlet Scorcher? His sinister smile tells us only that will be truly dastardly indeed!
