Yes, everyone knows about Flat, Fitted, Pillowcase and Pillowcase. But the "Solid Four" weren't the only members of The Sheetles, you know. There was Patterned Flat, who was with them in Hamburg. There was "Patterns" Pillowcase, who often worked with Flat and Fitted in the studio as the quartet began to grow apart. There was Casey "Pillowcase" Patterned, often thought of (incorrectly) as the reason the sheet set split. And then there was Fitted "Fitty" Patterned, with the strongest case, who produced some of the magic that held the Sheetles together.
Of course, it's possible that they were actually just misunderstood, and they were an 8-Piece Sheet Set all along, but, well, if THAT were true can you imagine how many history books and press releases would have to be rewritten? So it's better if we just keep questioning it in magazines and on TV every now and then. Much easier on all of us.
