The Internet says that microwaves cook food using "microwaves", but it's that type of circular logic that leads absolutely nowhere when placed under serious scrutiny. Saying a microwave uses microwaves is just obvious. Like, yes, of course the microwaves cook the food- I put the food in a microwave! The oven didn't cook this hotdog while it was in the microwave.
