Cattle Dog (Heeler) / Australian Shep X Approved!
By Heather W on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2023
My girl is the definition of a power chewer. I started her on Nylabones at a young age and it saved my cabinets, wooden objects, furniture, anything she can wrap her gums around. This bone is BIG! She can easily grip it with her paws and she thoroughly enjoys chewing on it. I think she's prepping for a zombie apocalypse and strengthening her jaw because she really goes to town on these. It is very durable and outlasts many other "chew" bones/edibles/toys. It's a great value for the money because it actually lasts a couple of months compared to minutes or seconds. It is very hard, I mean hard. If your dog is like mine, trots around with toys, throwing them (yes, she can throw her own toys), or dropping/flinging them onto your feet, you may want to invest in a good pair of boots to avoid foot injury. I guess she likes the way it looks, I don't know. I don't think it looks bad, it's a chew bone. Anyhow, my dog loves it and she highly recommends it to all power chewers. She means dogs, not kids ;)

NYLABONES ARE GREAT BUT THIS ONE MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT HAVE AN ISSUE
By DreamyOne on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2020
Date of Review: 1/26/2020 We have five power chewers in our home. We love Nylabones. We have this specific chew in all the flavors. I thought the pink one would be nice, so I got five of them - one for each dog. However, we immediately noticed that this one feels different. It's hard to explain, but it felt more "plasticky" than the others that look exactly alike. We compared them to the other flavored one, and even tapped them on the floor. This one sounds different, so it might be made of something different. It just doesn't feel as rubbery. Then we noticed that on one, some of the nubs are missing. It doesn't look as if they are missing due to a manufacturing issu, but more as if the nubs broken off as it looks like a recent break and not a defection. When we passed our fingers across this area, it felt a little bit sharp. Still, we're not sure what the problem is. However, I did not see any broken off nubs in the packaging, but that's not to say it didn't happen. We are watching the dogs very carefully this morning, as they enjoy these toys. However, we also noticed than when banging against their teeth, the sound effects may be slightly different. Until we're sure these toys are a hazard, as compared to the othes that look exactly alike but are different colors/flavors and appear to be made of a slightly different product, we are not leaving the dogs alone with these for even a second. They might be fine, but we don't know for sure. Because of the broken nubs and our other doubts, for now, we are rating this a three.
