First thing is first! The color selections on this cup are so fun. For functionality…. If you’re using the straw primarily, it is not sealed around the straw like many of these insulated cups are nowadays. The slot for the straw itself leaves literal wiggle room, which means, air will get in and your drink will get warm. For instance, i drink from the straw part. I loaded this up with ice and water, and within an hour it was warm. If you like drinking from the lid, you may have better luck. I love the soft base, it’s quiet and it grips well, and it won’t ruin your table tops. The idea of the lid is cool, two different ways to drink, but leaves a bit to be desired. I have a 40 oz cup (also from Amazon) that was $10 cheaper and it’s leak proof, and it stays cold for 32 hours. This one’s good for around the house or during errands. Very easy to clean. All in all, it’s a decent cup, but only stays cold under certain conditions, and it’s a bit over priced. I bought it when I had an Amazon gift card.
